First stop in Poland.

After flights from Cleveland to Philadelphia, Philadelphia to Amsterdam, and Amsterdam to Warsaw, and one lost bag, we arrived in Poland and began getting settled!

This is the door to the room we were staying at in the hostel at Warsaw. Ducks and lucky 13! In a way, it's a good sign, since my traveling companion, Michelle, and I just finished helping to put on play 13 of the Chester Cycle at the University of Toronto at the end of May.

And one of our in-jokes for play 13 was about dromedaries/camels! These were on the sheets in the room. Another good sign!

This cat was on the fireplace in the lobby. It appeared to be paper mache.

Michelle takes a picture in Warsaw's Old Town. We are picture-taking fiends. She's let me borrow her old camera, which also takes video. Believe me, I have some videos in store.

The sign for a cafe or a bakery in Warsaw's Old Town. Not sure which, really, but a cool sign!

  1. Hey! Glad to see that all is going well. Not much new here, so I'll look forward to hearing more about your adventures.
