More Wrocław

A reasonably famous and gorgeous church we visited in Wrocław's Old Town. Michelle took this picture.

A close-up of the sculpture.

This is a comparison of how the church looked after being totally destroyed during World War II (left) and how it looks today after restoration (right).

This is a lion statue (our guide said "Trust me, it is a lion") outside the church. Legend says that you touch the lion during the Easter celebration and within a year you will meet the person you are going to marry. Michelle and I touched it even though it wasn't Easter.

A really awesome fountain.

  1. Aha. Thought you would escape to Poland, did you? Not so easy. (I thought most people tried to escape
FROM Poland.) I've tracked you down AND finally figured out how to post a comment. Looks like an awesome experience. I loved the bicycle video. Haven't had time to watch the others yet. Sounds like they are keeping you busy. How's your Polish coming along?
